The average amount of time a visitor spends on a website. Often used as a goal where there are no sales or lead mechanisms
What should you aim for?
Unless you have a very simple website, time on site should be several minutes rather than a few seconds. The gold standard here is Facebook, which has an average time on site of over 10 minutes.
